The Radikal Endorsement

Independent Gators have come together, in defiance of a system that promotes bureaucracy through nepotism translated into legacies. For years, decades even, SG Agencies have been the prized possession of Greek houses, social and cultural cliques, and opportunist Turncoats that have sold you out and claimed their positions, you can easily point them out from Mr. Moseley's own cabinet.

All glamour and glitz aside, all those bullshit platforms and all those campaign-season lies aside, where was Progress and where was Gator when Andrew Meyer got tased at the Kerry speech that made headlines around the world?! Progress was out organizing the students, making signs, making phone calls, making this campus more militant and united. Gator and its top leader, Student Body President Ryan Moseley were more concerned with sitting it out, playing the fence, trying their hardest to impress the adults through their fairness (a fairness which buried the oath they took to represent YOU against any and all that stood in your way). You should reward the party that walked alongside you, yelled with you, felt ashamed of Moseley & Gator just as you did, for doing nothing. You should vote for people that actually REPRESENT you, not that PROSTITUTE you. You are 50,000 strong, use your numbers to your advantage. Let your constitution mean something, make your voices one, amplify it, make Machen fear your numbers, not program your president and mock you as a whole.

Gator is the machine, the system. They have the jocks, the ditzy blondes, the money, the connections, they have the Judases from the Indie movement that want power more than anything else, but us Independents we have the backbone and the will to survive and go on, we're like roaches, they can step on us, they can spray us, hell they can nuke us and we never seem to go down. Show those robots that you're real, that you're an Independent.

Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
