Orange & Blue Leader Frank Bracco has been fingered by top Progress Lt. Justin Wooten in a scandal rocking the Independent movement. Wooten claims he has first hand knowledge that the former O&B Vice Presidential candidate has been telling fellow party-members that Wooten is an FBI Agent, allegations that, if true, will put a major damper on hopes of a key-Summer-pactbetween the two warring Indie factions.
"We need a united front for [Fall]," expresses a key indie leader on the ground at UF. Wooten, who is widely rumored heir-apparent to the Progress-presidency, a post currently held by Joshua Simmons, is the #1 go-to person O&B should be looking to win over.
Bracco, on the other hand, is a senior member of the independent movement, having made his bones with the heroic Pants Party of Bruce Haupt and following that up with a successful tenure at the helm of a key SG Agency, not to mention consisten ground & organizational work several indie parties. Many people have had their fingers crossed since the results were announced - hoping for unity and reconciliation. On the other hand, many hardliners (from both parties, I'm afraid to say) still have some fight left in 'em. It could be Bracco/Wooten or it could be Heinz or Hunts Ketchup, but some hardliners seem poised to carry on the tensions - even though the elections are a thing of the past.
Question is...will this feud provide a forum for the upcoming battles? You Decide!

Like, Bracco was yelling and screaming about this poster we made and put up at our table in turlington w/ our exec and lil wayne+obama and he was really trying to raise hell, saying we were misrepresenting ourselves and falsely implying that these two figures endorsed us.
And Wooten flat out told him to shut the fuck up, or something in that ballpark which may have sparked the fbi comment as backlash.

First, I get to have the most enjoyable election season ever by running the Keg Party, then the Keg Party gets away with handing out I voted stickers, and now I get to read perhaps the most hilarious article you have put up yet. Wooten takes himself too seriously. We called him an FBI agent behind his back because he never smiled. It was a joke about Dictor's paranoid view that the FBI was always trying to infiltrate our meetings. Our SDS group isn't that important.

Even as a Gator Party Senator I heard Wooten was an FBI agent last semester from some hippie on the plaza.
The FBI "rumor" is a JOKE. It makes fun of certain aspects of Wooten's personality as well as certain aspects of the SDS culture, which once had me pegged as "the informant" before I "proved myself."
The fact that a joke turned into a serious rumor that turned into a serious blog post tells me that some people need to spend more of their time pursuing their more worthwhile interests, like bodybuilding.

Brandon White was definitely an opportunist. Am I the only one who is happy he lost? I mean, he even updates his Facebook page saying how he did not really "lose" in this election. If that is not narcissitic, I don't know what is. No one can criticize him for his aspiration, but he must remember that several individuals (void of race or fraternity/sorority) fought so he could advance as quickly as he did in student senate. For future reference, he should remember not to screw over the people who helped him out, and alwways remember to lead a helping hand to the younger students (without seeking something in return). Former student leaders should have really talked to him (a la Will Atkins or Paul Drayton). I am ecstatic that Miorelli will also be gone. His cynicism and inability to work in a bi-partisan fashion to promote change does not go unnoticed. No one has ever overthrown a system without working within it (even in the French Revolution, there were members of the aristocracy who assisted the working class). What will become of the following people: Kevin Reilly, Brandon "I didn't really lose" White, Sam Miorelli, Armando Grundy?
