Interesting Analysis Christian; however, I don't think his campaign is best served by reaching to only one group. If Grundy does that he would certainly lose because he would stifle any opportunity he has with other voters he is going to need to have any attempt at victory. And the breakdown you gave between he and Agrusa are stark contrasts; and it makes his race much more difficult. So you have to respect the guy for attempting what many would say the impossible. You could have dug deeper in your analyzing, but otherwise great job.

Ben either likes you or he doesn't. Just how the cookie crumbles.

Grundy is a JOKE.

Why is there so much negative hype against this Republican candidate, that's what I want to know? I don't even think Mike Belle took this much heat from the mainstream DEC in '04.

The chairman has contacted several people stating this candidate never served in the military and his claims of being a veteran are untrue; However Grundy has shown a record of his service and Honorable Discharge after 8 years of service to his country. This candidate is not a joke and I thank him for his honorable service to his country. Grundy has alot of passion and cares about people; and for anyone to attack one of our troops in the way the chairman did is an insult to all troops. The chairman would best served by acquiring a spirit of silence. Apparently masters the art of double talk and betrayal.

I haven't heard any of these rumors about Armando not serving in the military but then again I am not following the races that closely.

I can say, however, that I have held his metals and the papers that show he was in the military before the Senate meeting (they were also shown on a piece on WCJB news) and he clearly has the knowledge of someone that has been in the military. In fact a couple formal Senators, myself, and Armando had a lively conversation before the meeting that he spoke about foreign relations/national politics and whatnot…and I one of those senators read this blog and could attest to that.

My comments are not an endorsement or approval of Armando in any sort of way, in fact I really don’t mind who wins District 3 as long as people go out and vote, but to attack and to spread rumors about someone who has served our country is wrong; not only is it offense to that individual, but also that individual’s family, friends, community, and to the nation as well.
