PANTS Party Announces Veep Candidate!

The PANTS Party has confirmed that it will field Eve Rizzo, a former Chair of the SG Women's Affairs Cabinet and former replacement senator, as its candidate for Student Body Vice President. Ms. Rizzo is a sister of Delta Gamma Sorority and serves as the president of Phi Eta Sigma. During her time in cabinet, she impressed fellow cabinet director Bruce Haupt. "She was a hard worker and implemented important programs through her cabinet."

Eve joins the ranks of a very impressive list of potential candidates that have interviewed with PANTS, including Top 20 State Leaders as well as persons with Student Governance credentials from a variety of schools and universities, adding experience as well as a vital non-traditional element to an already very much independent party.

So far the PANTS Party has interviewed well over three dozen prospective candidates and will continue to interview students all day tomorrow at:

The Reitz Union,
Room # 276

Additionally, key Independents are slowly-but-surely coming to the side of The PANTS Party. These leaders will be lending their expertise and assisting the valiant Independent party in a variety of capacities.

Despite some early cases of unethical campaign practices carried out against PANTS, the Independent community stands behind BRUCE & PANTS for the long haul!

EVE RIZZO? Pants has really thrown in the towel now. Sad as it is, that girl is going to have a bad, bad month against the Machine that outed her because of her "personal life." I hope this doesn't get too vicious....

"Despite some early cases of unethical campaign practices carried out against PANTS"

    Can anyone list these please?

The "unethical campaign practices" are likely referring to a few people that after qualifying with pants were strongly suggested to not run or face the consequences.

  7. The constant threat of defeat is getting old. Why does the mighty Gator Party scare so easily and why is that it's adherents' only reaction to GDI's comes in the form over-hyping imminent defeat and harassing persons interested in slating with the Opposition?

Gator has made safe selections for its executive ticket, reaching out to Greeks, the AA community, and IRHA. They have also absorbed a gang of spineless Independent sellouts (see Wall of Shame, coming soon - we'll see what exactly these folks got for their 'support') to boast of around campus.

However, it seems that the Gator Party's impotence in successfully scaring the Pants Party out of the race, has manifested itself in one utter failure after another, with dormant GDI's awaking from their slumber and slowly but surely trickling back into the GDI camp and networking on behalf of the small, but heroic PANTS Party.

  10. Anonymous trolls. I'm sure if Gator chooses to go the homophobic/anti-women angle they will do very nicely at the polls.

So telling someone they will lose is now unethical?

So if I tell someone they will lose a football game against the Atlanta falcons with his pee wee team I guess I'm being unethical or a bad sport.

No sometimes its just true. Even if you don't want to hear it.

They didn't tell them they will lose. They told them that they would win, and following that they would face the consequences. The only went after candidates in the close races: grad, LS, engineering, etc.

Is it ironic that Rizzo and Reilly dated for a while? Maybe Bruce'll get lucky.

So on January 7th, you held Vanessa Goodwin as a possible true "indie" that could be a good if not great indie candidate...

I can't wait until you "flip-flop" on her and say now she is an evil System puppet.

And E.J. will be a puppet as well, I mean because he has been such a puppet as IRHA President. I mean John told him what to do in leading that organization. I mean he was one of the few students to come up with an articulate argument for minus grades. While few were willing to take that stand, don't "radicals" require courage?

Come on Christian, they picked quality people who can help the student body.

Not everyone needs to be a radikal, the sad part is that you hardly know these people (other than e-mails and the alligator articles) and that's about it.

To add further to anon 6:58 Christian constantly advocates things like "voting your conscience" or making your own decision.

Yet flames people who willing support a party other than the indie one.

The truth of the matter is people don't have to be promised positions to VOTE THEIR CONSCIENCE and choose the better slate.

    Let The Radikal's Hypocrisy end!

Do you even read what you write and realize how moronic you sound? At this point, who cares if Boyles is a liar, you sound idiotic because you can't even get out an intelligible argument.

  18. E.J. remains a friend of this blog. You come here of your own accord, you can "end me" by simply not frequenting my site.

10 months out of the year this site is non-partisan and aims at being fair. During the elections, I am what I am and the same applies to this blog. This is GDI Country turf right here and everyone knows it.

There is Tommy Jardon & Bruce Haupt. Both are leaders, but only one is a true independent. No ill will towards either, just stating the facts. I've chosen to support PANTS and work behind the scenes in getting them anything I possibly can. If you don't like my choice, I'm sorry, but it's my choice.

And your point is...she's a fun loving gal who is also a hard worker and academic?....do explain.

  21. Anonymous2:27 AM

She's a whore... Does that explain?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Anonymous7:23 AM

    Anon 2:27
No, it doesn't explain. The only clarification it provides is to how much of an anal retentive whore you really are when it all boils down to it. I have friends on both campaigns; however, if this is your idea of "politicking" for the Gator Party, you may wish to revamp your intentions, because it will ultimately be of loss to you.

Can someone tell me why DG kicked her>

    ReplyDelete
  24. Anonymous11:06 AM

The Gator Party will not be spreading rumors about her personal life. She's a nice girl, but those rumors follow her everywhere and it will be hard to stop that.

We don't need to stoop to that level to win this election.

  25. Anonymous3:52 PM

What's so bad about her personal life that apparently "follows her everywhere"?...

DG screwed her over. Bitter girls suck.
