However, TR has provided a speaking area for great alums like Nick Capezza, James Argento, Chris Carmody, and other omitted from all the other blogs. I have also provided INTERVIEWS - none of those other blogs ever did that. In many real ways, you can't compare this to that. They blogged when blogging was trendy, when they no longer were current, they stopped.

You could argue that they "grew up" or, as I would argue, they stopped b/c they were no longer the center of attention. I don't aim to be the current SG Blog, I leave that to the Observer. With the exception of giving Bruce a small hand with handing out stickers and a modest few suggestions, I don't mix with the current lineup.

GOAL< Gatorman, they were around for such a short time that you can't really blame me for overlooking them. TR's been around TWO YEARS, so really, what's a few months to a blog that's outlasted them all.

;0) (ROFLMAO)Christian Duquehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06442591895926766002noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14998306.post-29059120533404257722007-07-03T18:14:00.000-04:002007-07-03T18:14:00.000-04:00Surprised Duque hasn't blogged about the recent te...Surprised Duque hasn't blogged about the recent terror attempts by "non-Buddhists" in London and Glasgow.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14998306.post-12710585198511760282007-07-03T15:57:00.000-04:002007-07-03T15:57:00.000-04:00Besides the fact that they probably paid for the p...Besides the fact that they probably paid for the pizza with their contributions, or else Ryan Day did.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14998306.post-83502595781022997292007-07-03T14:35:00.000-04:002007-07-03T14:35:00.000-04:00"No it was saving them from getting elected and ha..."No it was saving them from getting elected and having to deal with senate."

So true. (And it's unfortunately going to get much worse - I'm not entirely sure what flight of insanity caused me to want to take a Stafford class over Summer B).

I am glad you recognize that my comments are never personal, simply argumentative, and I'm quite honoured that you'd compare me to Kerns, Capezza, and Argento, three erstwhile mentors of mine. I look forward to our assured continued intellectual sparring when you switch over completely to real world events. ;-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
